ALL SCRUBBED UP

got the chest all scrubbed up and displayed on top of a longer bench in my foyer....I absolutely love it there......adds a lil height to the middle of such a much longer bench.

I had to have this old green trunk...cant wait to find a spot in our home to display it...LOL.......

isnt she just the primmest? I love her, she will make her new home in our bedroom ...

I found the perfect spot in my kitchen for the old wood sconce..it came with a grungy candle, but I decided to put flicker candle in it..

loved this table square coverelt....hmmmm where should I display it ? Im sure I will figure that out sooner or later...

got this brown stripe homespun blanket for our spared bedroom...

check out the lil make do lantern with the flicker tea light inside it..not sure where that will go either. and the doll was just toooo cute..had to have 2 of um, one with black clothing and one with red..couldnt decide, so had to get both dolls..

just thought his lil sheep was just the cutest..another , just had to have it thing....

I fell in love with this hanging wall cupboard....where or where will I hang it..? lol, havent quite made my mind up yet...

what an amazing day I had yesterday...went to the prim antique show in Elkton yesterday..it was small, but the vendors there had great stuff and were sooo nice.....I always manage to finds lots of stuff I NEED...lol...the weather was perfect, the drive was nice and well worth it...sooo thought I would share with my blogging friends all my wonderful goodies that came back home with me...I could of bought so much more, but it seems Im sooo outta room in my house...y'all ever get that feeling about your home too? lol.. the show was sponsered by henhouse primitives , check um out

Mid week surprise...........

Now whats better than going to your mailbox and recieving all 3 of your favorite magazines in the same day?? Yep, all 3 of um....the second issue of the simple life, the july issue of the country sampler (which has some excellent prim homes in there) , I had to browse thru it right quick...and the newest country living magazine....I will save them for tonight with a hot cup of coffee ....and also , after 3 days of rain, the sun is finally shining...wooooo hooooo what a great wednesday....

just a basket in my foyer...it just makes me smile when I walk past it, so I thought I post this pic of it..

added another small coverlet fabric to my old wood bucket...adds just a lil something to it I think...

added the lil coverlet placemat on my mantle, which by the way, my father in law made...he is sooo talented and has learned my style pretty fast...he also made my 5ft farm table.......

I really love the prim battery operated tapers....looks great flickering in the dark and dont have to worry about them falling and catching something on fire....LOL...

I loved this keeping room sampler...I just had to have it....LOL

the candle and holder was a gift from my oldest son..he also gave me an hanging basket for flowers

the above sign is another gift from my daughter and grandson..adds just the right touch, dontcha think?

I loooove this broom and small egg basket....
